Full Program Installation Instructions:
Zylogic suggests that all older versions of FastChip be un-installed before installing this latest FastChip release, using the provided un-installation utility. Do not manually remove any files and folders. The FastChip license file (FCLicense.trj) for your exsiting version will remain in the installation folder. Though the FastChip uninstaller will not remove project files and folders, including the FastChip license file, it is recommended that a backup be made for those files for added safety.

Install FastChip 2.5.0 to the same path and folder where the old version resided so the existing license file and all user project files will continue to be effective for FastChip 2.5.0.

If for whatever reason FastChip 2.5.0 must be installed to a different folder than the previous FastChip installation, the license file then must be manually copied to the new FastChip 2.5.0 installation folder from the previous FastChip installation folder.

Note to existing FastChip users:
If you previously received a license for FastChip 2.x, you do not need to apply for a new license for FastChip 2.5.0. Your existing license works with FastChip 2.5.0.

Note to customers in China/Japan/Korea:
Please read the additional statement about platform issues that have been mostly observed on Chinese platforms and, sporadically also on Japanese and Korean platforms. A Chinese version of the statement is here (.pdf format).

Note to Keil µVision2 users:
It is mandatory to download and install E5 SDK 1.1.0. For A7 customers, please visit the complete SDK download area.

Note to customers using visionClick v7.7:
Download the ARM_Patch_visionCLICK.exe (2.7MB) patch for visionCLICK v7.7a. This patch is required for using visionPROBE II with FastChip.
