There are many compilers and simulators
for the 8051 and ARM instruction sets. Because the ZE5 and
ZA7 are fully compatible to these respective instruction sets,
all compilers will be able to create object code for the Zylogic
CSoC devices. However, they may experience some issues when
using FastChip Header files due to syntax incompatibility.
Also, these simulators will not be able to provide real-time,
in-system debugging, since they are not supported by FastChip.
For the smoothest ZE5 and A7 development processes, Zylogic
recommends using a supported IDE.
Zylogic will be continually adding support for other leading
8051 and ARM tools. Please check this page for updates.
