Electronic Motor Drive

Zylogic has addressed this need with its next-generation family of EMD processors-the A7V™ Configurable System-on-Chip (CSoC). Combining FPGA logic with the industry's most extensive set of hard-wired peripherals, the A7V is the first ARM7TDMI™ device to combine Ethernet 10/100 and CAN2.0B-plus USB, UARTs, SSI and TWSI-on a single, easy-to-implement SoC.

The ZA7V is the only solution to allow designers to design-in their PWM or QEI module of choice. Customized algorithms and control logic can be easily created and modified in the ZA7V's Configurable System Logic (CSL). The CSL, which packs about 6,400 system gates, can be used as a traditional FPGA fabric to implement any PWM or logic module designed in VHDL or Verilog. Those less familiar with FPGAs and programmable logic can customize their designs using the library of IP modules available through Zylogic's FastChip® 3.0 Development System.
